Josko Gvardiol is set for a spell on the sidelines after Manchester City confirmed the defender suffered a broken leg on Sunday.
Gvardiol will have surgery on the injury, with the club not confirming how long he is expected to be out of the game.
Ruben Dias was also forced off in the second half of the match, although he did at least leave the pitch under his own steam. There has been no update yet on the Portuguese defender’s prognosis.
With Nico Gonzalez and Savinho also injury doubts, there is a deepening injury crisis at the Etihad, which may prompt some earlier than planned movement in the transfer window.
