Regardless of the result, Benin have made it through as one of the best 3rd place teams, while Senegal will be looking to head into the final 8 in style.

Champions in 2022 the Lions of Teranga can draw confidence from the way they’ve started this campaign, but Benin will not be short of pride themselves, having secured their first ever AFCON win against Botswana on Saturday.

Can they build on that performance or will Senegal’s all-stars bring them back down to earth?
