Nigeria v Tanzania LIVE – Super Eagles kick off AFCON campaign at the Fez Stadium

ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT

Tanzania have qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations for only the fourth time, after also competing in 1980, 2019 and 2023. They are, however, still searching for their first win in the competition.

They have lost six of their nine matches at the competition, drawing the other three. Their first ever match at the tournament was against today’s opponents Nigeria, with the Taifa Stars losing 1-3 that day in 1980.
