United face City battle for Semenyo
It is claimed the forward has a £65 million release clause which kicks in at the start of January.
“Semenyo has a £65 million release clause in his contract, which becomes active on January 1.
“For City, Jeremy Doku and Phil Foden have been playing wide for the majority of this season with Rayan Cherki making progress recently.
“Savinho – who nearly moved to Spurs last August – Oscar Bobb and Omar Marmoush have mostly been on the outside looking in.”
United keen on midfield trio
Manchester United hope to keep hold of Bruno Fernandes despite speculation of a potential exit, according to The Mirror.
Carlos Baleba, Elliot Anderson and Adam Wharton are all contenders to join the side.
“Last summer, United contemplated signing Carlos Baleba. Brighton slapped a hefty price tag of over £100 million on the midfielder, and United prioritised bolstering other areas of their squad.
“They have also kept tabs on Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson and Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton. Casemiro’s contract is set to run out at the end of this season. While there is an option for a 12-month extension, activating it would mean the 33-year-old remains the top earner in the dressing room.”
Leeds set to sign Morrall from Reds
The 15-year-old could instead be on the cusp of joining Leeds United in pursuit of first-team football.
“The 15-year-old winger has come to a mutual agreement with Liverpool to depart, so Leeds will not be required to pay any compensation.
“The Republic of Ireland youth international, who joined Liverpool’s academy at Under-9s level, believes he will have a greater chance of a pathway to first-team football by moving to Elland Road.
“Liverpool are well-stocked in the attacking positions Morrall can play and the chance to join Leeds was viewed as a good opportunity on all sides.”
Arsenal keen on Rodrygo and Valdepenas
As well as Real Madrid’s Brazilian forward Rodrygo, Arsenal are supposedly keen on his team-mate Victor Valdepenas.
The Daily Star reports that the 19-year-old defender is also wanted by two German sides.
“According to ESPN Deportes, the 19-year-old defender is being tracked by Arsenal with Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen also reportedly showing interest.
“However, Madrid manager Xabi Alonso may be determined to retain the youngster after heaping praise on him following his bow against Alaves.”
