National League side Boreham Wood booked their place in the third round of the FA Cup after a 3-0 win over League Two strugglers Newport County. Former Boreham Wood player and current manager Luke Garrard, who admitted himself to be an Arsenal fan, said he would “love” if his side got drawn against Mikel Arteta’s team in the third round. The draw takes place on December 8.
