We’re not really happy with losing in the end. We followed the game plan in a lot of ways and we fought so hard. Our whole back line. (We had) a bit more inexperienced players but we all did so well. In all ways we deserved a point because we did everything we wanted.
On Liverpool showing character to come back from 1-0 down early on…
Absolutely. We go into every game thinking we have points to take, and in a game like this we always believe we can come back. Obviously we didn’t give ourselves enough time at the end. Maybe we had a few chances we should have put in the net before that. But I agree, I think we showed some character.
