Liverpool favour Semenyo over Olise
The Reds reportedly view the Frenchman as an option in the future, but Plettenberg insists they are not planning to bid for him at the moment.
“Liverpool are fond of Michael Olise and view him as a future dream target,” he posted on X, formerly Twitter.
“However, despite other reports, they are not planning an offer at this stage.
“He is currently not a concrete transfer target for LFC.
“Main reasons: he does not have a release clause in his contract, FC Bayern are not open to talks, and Olise himself is not inclined to leave.
“Liverpool are currently focused on Antoine Semenyo.”

Zirkzee has struggled to adapt to life at Old Trafford since arriving from Bologna, while Silva could not hit the ground running with Wolves.
However, the Italian outlet say they are both on Roma’s shortlist ahead of a crucial window for the Italian giants.
“That’s the department that decides seasons, the one that can transform a good run into a memorable one.
“So Massara is studying solutions to figure out how to land one of the three important targets in terms of transfer fee, salary, and above all, technical weight.
“The hunt is on, and there’s already a sign: all three names have already said yes to Roma, with their minds already focused on working with Gasperini.
“Three names currently intrigue the sporting director: Joshua Zirkzee, Yuri Alberto, and Fabio Silva.”

He has been named on the bench for Liverpool’s last two Premier League clashes, and Galatasaray could be ready to capitalise.
Spanish outlet Fichajes says that the forward is ready to start a new chapter in his career following a successful spell on Merseyside.
“Galatasaray plans to make an offer to sign him in the January 2026 transfer window.
“The Egyptian forward, currently at Liverpool, is not in his best form, and the offer from the Istanbul giants could represent a turning point in his career.”
Wolves to send Lopez out on loan
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Wolves are willing to let Fer Lopez leave the club on loan after a disappointing start to life in England.
The Spaniard joined the relegation-threatened Premier League side in the summer from Spanish club Celta Vigo.
Wolves are currently rooted to the bottom of the table on two points, 12 points off Leeds in 17th place.
Romano says Wolves are eager to send the 21-year-old out on loan until the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
“Fer Lopez can be available on loan until June 2026 from Wolves after limited game time this season so far,” he posted on X.
