Beata Olsson voted LFC Women Player of the Month for November

Olsson opened her account for the club by scoring away at Tottenham Hotspur in the Barclays Women’s Super League at the beginning of the month.

She then followed that up by getting on the scoresheet in the draws with Brighton & Hove Albion and reigning champions Chelsea.

Her November concluded with a hat-trick against Sheffield United to fire her side into the quarter-finals of the Subway Women’s League Cup.

Olsson continued: “It is going well at the moment. As a striker you are always waiting for that goal so to get my first for the club at Tottenham felt really good.

“The goal against Chelsea was a good moment for us. That was a good game and I thought we did really well defensively, so to be able to score an important goal felt really nice.

“To get the hat-trick was really nice. It’s always important to score goals and for me personally it was nice to be able to show it.

“Most importantly, the team won the game, and I got to keep the match ball, which was great. I’ll definitely be keeping that!”
