Newcastle want quick Tonali deal
Clubs interested in Newcastle’s Sandro Tonali have been told to move quickly for the Italy international midfielder, with the Magpies seeking a quick resolution to the midfielder’s situation.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City are all interested in landing Tonali, but the Magpies have put an asking price of around €115 million (£100m) on his head, the i Paper reports.
Even if Newcastle miss out on Europe, they believe the 25-year-old is willing to remain at the club, having never expressed a desire to leave. Therefore, they will only sell on the terms they set.
Carrick ‘recommends’ Rogers to Man Utd
Michael Carrick may not have the Manchester United job on a permanent basis, but he has still told the Old Trafford club to sign Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa, TeamTalk claims.
Carrick worked with Rogers during his time with Middlesbrough and has offered a glowing reference for the 23-year-old.
Aston Villa will demand a club-record fee to sell the England international, meaning that a figure in excess of that €115m mark will be required for them to allow the player to depart.
Chelsea are also working hard to sign Rogers, who has a strong off-field relationship with Cole Palmer.
Liverpool and Chelsea have ‘concrete’ Kroupi interest
Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi continues to be one of the most highly sought-after young strikers in the Premier League, with both Liverpool and Chelsea having a “concrete interest” in the 19-year-old, according to CaughtOffside.
The Reds could have an edge given Richard Hughes’ relationship with his former club, with an unnamed source claiming: “I wouldn’t be surprised if Liverpool have already had some conversations.”
Kroupi netted his 10th Premier League goal of the season against Arsenal, who have also been linked with the young Frenchman, at the weekend.
Bournemouth have set an asking price for Kroupi around the €65m (£55-60m) mark, the report claims.
