Ben Whittaker takes on Braian Suarez at M&S Arena Liverpool this Saturday, with the light heavyweight bout streaming live on DAZN as part of a blockbuster run of boxing events.

One of boxing’s most thrilling prospects is poised to showcase his talents in Liverpool this weekend as Ben Whittaker enters the ring. The 28 year old faces off against Braian Suarez at the MandS Arena on Saturday, 18 April, with the clash available to stream live on DAZN.

Light heavyweight Whittaker was brought in to replace WBO champion Callum Smith, who was compelled to pull out of the event after sustaining an injury during his training camp. Whittaker (10-0-1, 7 KOs) is considered one of the sport’s most promising talents, having dispatched Benjamin Gavazi in the first round of his Matchroom debut last November.

He’ll be aiming to maintain his undefeated run when he takes on Suarez (21-4, 20 KOs) on Saturday. The Argentine enters the fight following a second-round TKO triumph over Sergio Santos Dantas in November.

Also appearing on the undercard are Molly McCann vs Ashleigh Johnson (junior featherweight), Joe McGrail vs Aaron Hayden (junior featherweight) and Leo Atang vs Viktor Chvarkou (heavyweight). Coverage begins at 7pm, with the Whittaker and Suarez ring walks expected at approximately 9.20pm.

Whittaker vs Suarez is just one of numerous high-profile fights on the cards, with David Benavidez vs Zurdo Ramirez (2 May), Fabio Wardley vs Daniel Dubois (9 May) and Oleksandr Usyk vs Rico Verhoeven (23 May) all lined up. Typically, each of these fight nights would demand a separate purchase to view live, but DAZN now provides an all-inclusive package granting access to all these PPV events within a single subscription.
