Ryan Gravenberch on Wolves goal, Frimpong return and taking momentum into 2026

On every Premier League game being a tough test…

I think in the first half we played really good. We created good chances and scored two goals. Then what you see in the second half, we’ve conceded again at a set-piece and then they know they can maybe score the next one and they come. But I think at the end we fight and we showed character.

On digging deep to clinch three points…

Of course. As always, we stick together. It’s just run, run and trying to win your duels and I think at the end we did that.

On playing alongside Curtis Jones deeper in midfield…

I know Curtis. He loves to take the ball and dribble from the back. He’s really comfortable and he almost never loses the ball. It’s really nice to play with him and it gives you more confidence to bring the ball forward.

On his opening goal against Wolves…

I think always when you score you have a really good feeling. It was a really nice assist from Jeremie (Frimpong) as well and I saw the gap on the right side and it went nicely.
