Gabon v Mozambique LIVE – CAF Africa Cup of Nations updates with both the Panthers and the Mambas looking for their first win of the tournament

Good afternoon and thanks for joining us for the second match in Group F, taking place at Stade Adrar, in Agadir. Both sides dearly need to avoid defeat, having each lost their opening fixture, against Cameroon and Ivory Coast respectively. A draw would just about keep hopes alive for both, but a second slip would all but doom either’s chances of advancing to the last 16.

Having come into the competition unbeaten in six, Gabon will hope their 0-1 against Ivory Coast was a blip. They will start as fairly heavy favourites against Mozambique, who have gone 16 AFCON matches without a win, and whose only recent victory of any sort was a 1-0 squeaker over Somalia in October.

The second group stage game is where things start to get interesting.
