WSL: Eight stats to know before West Ham United v Liverpool

The Reds wrap up a run of three consecutive away matches by taking on Rehanne Skinner’s Hammers at Chigwell Construction Stadium.

Opta have supplied the following facts and figures ahead of the 11.55am GMT kick-off…

This is Liverpool’s third away game in the WSL in the space of eight days, with only Tottenham Hotspur in May 2022 (six days) and Bristol City in September 2013 (seven days) having less time between three matches on the road in the competition’s history.

West Ham have won only one of their 10 WSL meetings with Liverpool (drawn four, lost five), winning 4-2 at Rush Green under Matt Beard in February 2020.

This exact fixture has ended in a draw in each of the last three seasons, with Riko Ueki netting late equalisers for the Hammers in the last two campaigns (95th minute in October 2023, 85th minute in September 2024).

Ceri Holland has been directly involved in twice as many WSL goals against West Ham than any other Red (four – one goal, three assists). Indeed, Holland assisted the winner the last time these two sides met in the top flight (1-0 in February this year).
