Arne Slot
Arne Slot has been a recurring inclusion in our Sack Race lists this season. Despite largely underperforming throughout the campaign, the Liverpool boss has managed to cling onto his position.
Recently, Slot’s spot has become even more precarious than it was beforehand – a 4-0 defeat against Manchester City in the FA Cup only added fuel to the fire.
Slot is rated at 4/1 to be the next Premier League manager to leave their post. As things stand, the Reds are fifth in the league table, five points away from the Champions League spots.
Eddie Howe
Eddie Howe has committed a cardinal sin at St. James’ Park – he led Newcastle United to not one, but two defeats against bitter rivals Sunderland this season.
After finishing in the top four last season, the Toon now find themselves 12th in the league table – due to this, Howe has found himself as a lightning rod for criticism. Currently, Howe is 4/1 to be the next Premier League manager to leave their respective club.
The former Bournemouth coach has had a lengthy run at Newcastle, joining the club back in 2021. Is it time for a change?
Scott Parker
Scott Parker has cut a isolated figure for well over six months at this point. Burnley’s relegation has looked to be on the cards for a while now – the board have given Parker every chance to turn the ship around, but he has failed to do so.
What worked for Burnley last season has not translated into the Premier League – furthermore, they have failed to adapt and have looked tactically directionless as a result. Parker is rated at 4/1 to be the next Premier League manager to leave.
Will the Clarets hang onto Parker in hopes that he can lead another promotion campaign in the 2026/27 Championship season? Whatever they might choose to do next, this has been a very disappointing year for Parker and Burnley.
Liam Rosenior
After a fairly promising start to life at Chelsea, the Blues’ form has fallen off a cliff under the stewardship of Liam Rosenior.
Chelsea have won just one of their last six Premier League games – furthermore, they’re no longer in the Champions League after they were trounced by PSG over two legs.
The Blues ran rampant over Port Vale in the FA Cup, but this did little to ease Chelsea fans’ concerns – Rosenior is 4/1 to be the next manager to leave.
Oliver Glasner
Oliver Glasner announced that he would leave Crystal Palace at the end of the season a few months ago. His stance is known, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he will be the next Premier League manager to leave their position.
Nonetheless, Glasner has odds of 7/4 to be the next head coach to leave – indicating that the bookmakers think it is unlikely that there will be anymore manager departures before the conclusion of the campaign.
It has been a season of peaks and valleys for the Eagles – despite picking up some famous wins, they stand 14th in the league table.
