Szoboszlai penalty sets new Liverpool record in the Champions League

Dominik Szoboszlai’s late penalty against Internazionale on Tuesday night set a particular new record for Liverpool.

The No.8 dispatched the kick in the closing moments of the Champions League tie at San Siro to secure his team a 1-0 win.

His goal clocked in officially at 87 minutes and 24 seconds.

That is the latest winning goal the Reds have ever scored away from home in the Champions League.

Across all competitions this season, Szoboszlai currently has the most goal involvements for Liverpool with 10 (five goals, five assists).
