On how important the win was…
It feels very good, especially in these kinds of moments. We fought as a team. We fight until the end and we never give up. At the end the hard work paid off and that’s what we did. We’ll take the three points home.
On the wait for the VAR check before the penalty…
We just waited for a decision to be honest. I wasn’t really involved. I just focused on myself because I knew that if it’s penalty I was going to take it, so that’s what was in my head.
On the change in midfield system…
It’s different to how we used to play. But against Leeds it was quite OK, unfortunately at the end we conceded a set-piece, but I don’t think it was about any formation or something. The gaffer puts us in this formation and then we have to perform in this formation. If he does something different then we have to do something different. We talked about it and now it worked.
