Liverpool missed out on all three points in the Premier League on Saturday after a 3-3 draw with Leeds United.
Liverpool were unable to bounce back from the disappointment of dropping points in midweek as they failed to win yet another Premier League match. The Reds were held to a 3-3 draw with Leeds United, on Saturday, having held the lead going into stoppage-time.
Arne Slot’s side took the lead in the second half with a goal from Hugo Ekitike, who quickly gave Liverpool a two-goal advantage just a couple of minutes later. There was to be more drama late in the second half, though.
Leeds were awarded a penalty after a VAR check adjudged Ibrahima Konate had fouled Wilfried Gnonto near the touchline. Dominic Calvert-Lewin got a goal back for the hosts from the spot, before Anton Stach equalised just a few minutes later.

Liverpool then regained their lead with a goal from Dominik Szoboszlai, but it was not enough as Leeds equalised in stoppage-time, once again, with a close-range goal from Ao Tanaka.
The result leaves Liverpool eighth place in the Premier League table after dropping two points.
