She is really open to learning and keep improving. She is really honest with where she is at and where she wants to be. I’ve been really impressed with her.
It was important for Mia Enderby to get her first goal of the season. I think it gives her confidence because she has been getting closer and closer.
She scored a really good goal and I think the way she took it was top, the way she received the ball and the way she jinked past the player and finished it off.
I think Mia has definitely got those capabilities to get more goals. Again, we are trying to squeeze as much as we can out of her in various positions.
I see Mia as a player with good potential but she has to work really hard at her game to get those sort of returns.
We now have a home game against Chelsea in the quarter-finals and we can definitely take a lot of heart from our performance recently against them in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
This will feel different with it being a cup game and effectively winner takes all. A home tie for us is important, particularly as we now have three away games.
We’ve done some quite good work with the players during this international break.
Leanne Kiernan returned early, so she did some extra training with us because Ireland only had one game.
We now face a pretty hectic schedule of three away games in the WSL, starting with Saturday’s trip to play Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.
