LaLiga side Atletico Madrid are keen on signing Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli in the summer transfer window, as per TEAMtalk. The Brazilian duo have struggled to regularly feature in the starting XI this season and could seek an exit away from the club, despite being contracted with the Gunners until 2027.
Jesus missed a large part of the season after being sidelined due to an ACL injury. However, the 28-year-old has struggled to reclaim his starting spot up front, with Viktor Gyokeres ahead in the pecking order. The former has been limited to 21 appearances across all competitions (781 minutes), scoring five goals and providing two assists.

On the other hand, Martinelli has notably excelled for the Gunners in the Champions League, bagging six goals and one assist in nine appearances. However, the 24-year-old has played only 846 minutes in the Premier League this season, scoring one goal and registering three assists in 25 appearances.
With a combined 25 starts this season across all competitions, both attackers have become squad players. As a result, Arsenal would reportedly not prevent either star from seeking an exit away from the Emirates Stadium this summer.
However, Atletico Madrid could face stiff competition to sign the Brazilian duo. RB Leipzig and Marseille are reportedly interested in Martinelli, while Jesus has been training with Brazilian outfit Palmeiras during the current international break.

Former Bayern Munich star Owen Hargreaves believes Arsenal should strengthen their attack in the summer and sign Como’s Nico Paz. The 21-year-old is thriving at the Serie A outfit under Cesc Fabregas’ tutelage, having joined from Real Madrid in 2024.
Paz has recorded 11 goals and six assists in 33 appearances across all competitions for Como. When asked about possible transfers the Gunners could make over the summer, Hargreaves told TNT Sports (via METRO):
“There’s an option for him to go back to Real Madrid but if I’m Arsenal… This kid – you’ll see him at the World Cup. Mikel Arteta will already know that this boy will be a star and if you don’t ask you don’t get. A player like that could suit Arsenal.”
However, Mikel Arteta and Co. are likely to face competition from Real Madrid. Los Blancos reportedly own 50 percent of Nico Paz’s rights. They also have a €9 million buy-back clause and plan on making the Argentine their first signing of the summer.
