Castello Lukeba could be on his way out of RB Leipzig at the end of the season, and Manchester United are leading the race for his signature.
According to a report from SpainManchester United rate the player highly and believe the 23-year-old defender could be ideal for them. Lukeba has an €80 million release clause in his deal, but the report suggests the player could be signed for a reasonable fee.

Man United could use Castello Lukeba
It is no secret that Manchester United needs to tighten up at the back. They need a quality long-term replacement for Harry Maguire. Matthijs de Ligt has also struggled with injury problems. More depth in the defensive department would be ideal.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are closely monitoring the French defender as well. It will be interesting to see if the London club decides to make a move for him in the summer. They are already well-stocked in the defensive unit, and they might not be able to accommodate him in the starting lineup.

Lukeba should join Man United
On the other hand, he would be a regular starter for Manchester United. The 23-year-old will want to compete at a high level, and he will look to join a club where he can play regularly. Sitting on the bench at Arsenal will not benefit him. It would make sense for him to join Manchester United instead.
Manchester United have shown significant improvement in recent months and are currently third in the league table. They will be hoping to launch a title challenge next season, and they need quality players. Lukeba could be an excellent addition for them. The defender has the physicality to succeed in English football, and he could make an immediate impact.
