Despite concrete interest and lucrative overtures from a host of Premier League heavyweights, including Arsenal, Manchester United, and Newcastle United, the 26-year-old has his heart firmly set on a move to the Spanish capital.
According to Spanish outlet ASEderson has formally rejected all English approaches, heavily favoring a transition to Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.

The intense English interest in Ederson is entirely justified given his exceptional, consistent development in Serie A over the past few seasons.
Arsenal had recently been heavily tipped to launch a late hijack attempt, viewing the Brazilian as the perfect engine-room reinforcement to support Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard.
Meanwhile, Man United had explored creative avenues to secure his signature, reportedly considering offering out-of-favor striker Joshua Zirkzee in a potential player-plus-cash swap deal.
Newcastle United also viewed the 26-year-old as an ideal tactical fit for Eddie Howe’s high-intensity system. However, the financial muscle of the Premier League appears to have been outmatched by the tactical allure of La Liga.
