Arsenal will hope to continue their Premier League title charge when they travel to the City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest.

The Gunners will begin the weekend with a six-point lead at the top of the table but face a tricky test against Sean Dyche’s side on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta’s side are on a six-match unbeaten run in the league since falling to Aston Villa at the start of December, winning five in a row before drawing with Liverpool in their last outing.

Arsenal have had a busy week ahead of the trip to Forest, playing away matches in three different competitions.

Since January 11, they have won matches at Portsmouth and Chelsea in the FA and Carabao cups respectively.

They will be on the road again next week when they will head to Milan to face Internazionale in the UEFA Champions League.

The home side will look to take advantage of Arsenal’s hectic January travel schedule as they chase vital points of their own.

Forest’s last league engagement saw them wrestle three points from fellow relegation candidates West Ham in a key battle at the bottom of the table.
Victory saw Dyche’s side open up a seven-point gap to the Hammers and the bottom three, and they will hope to take that momentum to pull further away from trouble, despite the recent setback of an FA Cup exit at Wrexham.
