The Chelsea role is Rosenior’s third permanent senior managerial position following successful spells in charge of Hull City and Strasbourg.
He made his coaching breakthrough at Derby County, taking over as interim manager after Wayne Rooney’s departure – having been assistant to the former Manchester United and England striker at Pride Park.
