Instantly recognisable to any social media in the UK, the ‘Ibiza Final Boss’ is taking on a new challenge in the boxing ring.
Jack Kay, 26, from Newcastle, shot to fame whilst he was on a lads holiday to Ibiza last year, and he’s gone from working on a building site to overnight celebrity, in something of a modern day Cinderella story. Tonight (June 13) he’s making his boxing debut, and will be taking on rapper Jordan McCann before Tommy Fury and Eddie go head-to-head in the finale of the evening.
Jack became the ‘Ibiza Final Boss’ after videos of him dancing the night away whilst holidaying in the party hotspot last year, and was shared far and wide across social media. His lego style hair do, massive sunglasses and distinct moves on the dance floor that captured serious attention, and his life changed in an instant. He flew home on a private jet, and was swiftly signed by Joey Essex’s agent, reportedly for a cool £1 million. Not a bad ending to a lad’s holiday that is reported to have caused major issues with his then-girlfriend, Alisha.
Dave Read of Neon Management capitalised on Jack’s newfound fame, with brand deals and public appearances, as well as surprising musical release. But it hasn’t all been sunshine since his stardom for the boy who grew up on a council estate and stumbled into his ‘dream’ life.
