White was non-committal on the future of heavyweight champion Aspinall, adding: ‘(Pereira is) moving up and taking on a guy like Ciryl Gane… the way that these two strike, it’s going to be very, very interesting. And should he win the fight, then we figure out what’s going on with Tom Aspinall – it could be him versus Aspinall.”<\/p>\n
The announcement also confirmed there will be no dramatic return for former light-heavyweight and heavyweight champion Jon Jones who had been linked with a clash with Pereira after the Brazilian’s decision to relinquish his 205lb belt and move up a division.<\/p>\n
