Real Madrid have reportedly informed Vinicius Junior they will not improve their current contract extension offer amid rumours he could leave the club this summer.<\/p>\n
The Brazil international has just over one year remaining on his deal at the Bernabeu and he has been heavily linked with a high-profile exit for the past few months, with Los Blancos yet to finalise an agreement with his representatives.<\/p>\n
It was previously reported that Vinicius refused to pen fresh terms with the Spanish giants during Xabi Alonso\u2019s tenure in charge, due to his fractured relationship with the 44-year-old, but recent rumours have suggested that a new contract is now a formality.<\/p>\n
Vinicius has returned to form under interim boss Alvaro Arbeloa and widespread reports in the Spanish press have revealed that Florentino Perez is keen to reward the Brazilian with a new and improved deal in order to retain his services for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n
The 25-year-old has scored 12 goals and provided four assists in 20 games since the start of 2026 and he had looked set to extend his stay at the Bernabeu.
