Chelsea target Morgan Rogers is reportedly ready to leave Aston Villa this summer, despite signing a new long-term contract last year.<\/p>\n
The England international penned fresh terms until 2031 in November, but he continues to be linked with a high-profile exit and it\u2019s claimed that he is now willing to depart Unai Emery\u2019s side in order to join one of the Premier League\u2019s biggest clubs.<\/p>\n
Rogers has registered 17 goal involvements in 44 matches so far this season and he is in pole position to start for England at the upcoming World Cup, despite competition from Jude Bellingham, Cole Palmer, Phil Foden and Eberechi Eze.<\/p>\n
Rumours have previously indicated that the 23-year-old is likely to remain at Villa for at least another season, but The Sun<\/b><\/a> report that is now open to leaving the club in order to join one of the \u201cPremier League\u2019s biggest hitters.\u201d<\/p>\n It\u2019s understood that Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all long-term admirers of the England superstar, while Manchester United are also involved in the race to sign him amid their pursuit of a player capable of replacing Bruno Fernandes if he departs Old Trafford this summer.<\/p>\n Rogers reportedly wants to join a club that consistently challenges for major honours and Villa are aware this summer could be the perfect time to part ways with the 23-year-old, who could cost as much as \u20ac115 million (\u00a3100m).<\/p>\n There are still several gaping holes in Chelsea\u2019s first-team squad and landing another Premier League proven attacker would help ease the burden on Cole Palmer for creativity.<\/p>\n Furthermore, with Enzo Fernandez potentially set to leave, signing Rogers would be a massive boost for Blues head coach Liam Rosenior.
