The US golf legend was arrested and taken to a police station after rolling his Land Rover on Friday afternoon in Florida.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The 50-year-old has been released on bail after also being charged with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test. While nobody was injured in the crash, Woods had to climb out of the passenger door after the car rolled onto its side.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said the 15-time Major champion showed &#8220;signs of impairment&#8221; and refused to provide a urine sample. In 2017, he was charged with DUI after being found asleep at the wheel &#8211; something he blamed on &#8220;an unexpected reaction to prescribed medication&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">In 2021, he was was fortunate to survive after crashing his SUV at over 80mph near Los Angeles. He suffered significant injuries, including multiple leg and ankle injuries &#8211; so bad that Woods later revealed that surgeons had considered amputation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cHis recovery from the crash (in 2021) in California was brutal,\u201d the source added. \u201c(Elin) just wants him to make the best choices for himself.
