He has started 14 of his 25 appearances across competitions for Mikel Arteta&#8217;s outfit, helping them keep 13 shutouts in 1428 minutes of action.<\/p>\n<p><template id=\"template__newsletter-inline-banner-form-combo-widget\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<p><img id=\"subscribe-img\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Thanks for the submission!\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/template><\/p>\n<p>During a recent conversation with Europa Press, Mosquera shared his thoughts on settling in at Arsenal and asserted that he has offered a good account of himself so far. He said (h\/t <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.in\/football\/story\/_\/id\/48345804\/cristhian-mosquera-gabriel-william-saliba-older-siblings-arsenal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">ESPN<\/a>):<\/p>\n<p><template id=\"also-read-articles-template\"><\/p>\n<p><\/template><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I&#8217;m very happy in London and I&#8217;ve settled in much quicker than I thought I would. We all know the Premier League is a very physically demanding league, and I was already aware of that; many people had told me that, given my playing style, I&#8217;d be a good fit for the Premier League. I think that when the time came for me to step up and prove myself, I did well.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Claiming that Saliba and Magalhaes have both acted like family members to him in the ongoing campaign, Mosquera continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;From day one, the two of them have been by my side, giving me advice and always trying to look after me, like parents, like older siblings. I&#8217;m very grateful to them. They are two of the best centre-backs in the world, and it&#8217;s a pleasure and a privilege to train with them and watch them play every weekend.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Mosquera could next be in action in his team&#8217;s FA Cup quarter-final contest against Southampton at St. Mary&#8217;s Stadium on Saturday (April 4).<\/p>\n<h2>Cristhian Mosquera reckons Arsenal can notch first UEFA Champions League this term<\/h2>\n<p>Speaking to Europa Press, Cristhian Mosquera backed Arsenal to win their maiden UEFA Champions League trophy at the end of this season. He said (h\/t ESPN):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;In recent years, Arsenal haven&#8217;t quite achieved what they set out to do, but I think we&#8217;re ready this year. We know we have the chance to win titles. We&#8217;re going to do everything we can to bring joy to the fans. In the Champions League, I think we&#8217;re doing pretty well this year, we&#8217;re in the quarter-finals now, and hopefully we can go further and win it.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Arsenal, who are leading the Premier League standings by nine points, will take on Sporting CP in the Champions League quarter-finals.
