Pedro has established himself as the club’s first-choice striker, and is pushing towards the 20-goal mark—a feat no Chelsea forward has achieved since Diego Costa.

Asked whether he knew Pedro had another gear while playing for Championship side Watford, Davis told talkSPORT: ‘Yeah, for sure. You saw his quality in training.

‘Even playing with him, he’s Brazilian, so he’s just got that flair and belief in himself that he knows he’s a very good player. He’s a good guy as well. He’s not disrespectful or anything like that; he’s just a top person. So yeah, you could definitely see that you can move on to make big steps.

‘To see him at Chelsea now is like… even if he went to ARSENAL or something like that, I wouldn’t be surprised. He’s very good.’

Arsenal considering a move for João Pedro?

From a tactical standpoint, Pedro fits many of Arsenal’s requirements. He is mobile, technically sharp, and comfortable dropping into deeper areas—traits that align with Arteta’s preference for multifunctional forwards rather than a traditional target man.

However, there are clear obstacles. Signing a key player directly from Chelsea would likely require a significant transfer fee, particularly given Pedro’s importance and long-term potential. ARSENAL would also need to weigh whether he represents an upgrade on their current options or simply adds depth.

More importantly, Arsenal’s striker debate remains unresolved. While Pedro offers goals and creativity, he is not a classic penalty-box finisher in the mould of elite No.9s. If Arsenal’s priority is a prolific, clinical striker to convert chances in tight title races, they may look elsewhere.

That said, modern attacking systems often favour flexibility over rigidity. Pedro’s ability to press, link play, and score from multiple positions could appeal to Arteta as part of a broader attacking evolution.

In short, a move is far from imminent—but if ARSENAL continue to prioritise adaptable forwards, Pedro is exactly the type of player they would consider.

MORE ARSENAL NEWS AND GOSSIP –

Latest: Arsenal hold talks to sign “unstoppable” £87m star

Most Read: Arsenal to sell £70M star in bid to complete superstar signing of £250k-a-week winger

Must Check Out: £60M star JUMP at Arsenal move – Gunners told complete blockbuster £90M deal – Arteta urged sell worldie

LOVE ARSENAL?
