Littler overcame Humphries 6-5 in an absorbing contest to add yet another trophy to his growing collection.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Littler recorded a 104.72 average and hit 13 maximums in Milton Keynes to claim his 11th major PDC title and the \u00a3100,000 prize. He thrashed Josh Rock in the quarter finals before narrowly beating Gerwyn Price 5-4 in the semi-final to reach the final.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The youngster is already the joint third most successful player in darts history, level with James Wade and behind only Michael van Gerwen (48) and Phil Taylor (79) in terms of titles won.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Littler only needs to win the European Championship to collect all of the PDC ranked titles, but Humphries has already bestowed on him a major title.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cYou look back on the whole game. It&#8217;s hard to pick holes in it. It&#8217;s only the three at double top (he missed),\u201d he told ITV. \u201cThat&#8217;s the pressure he puts you under. He has shown that through class. He never folds under pressure. It&#8217;s definitely been weird and tough at times, but this is why we battle in every game and every leg. I&#8217;ve come out victorious. But Littler upped his game in the final, landing a 153 checkout and two 121 finishes to entertain the crowd at Arena MK.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cOf course I\u2019m gutted not to win it, but you have to take the positives,\u201d said Humphries. \u201cI can go away this weekend and know that my game is in a good place again.
