The 22-year-old claimed his first world title on Monday after beating John Higgins 10-6 at The Crucible.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Not only has the Chinese star walked away with the trophy, Wu now has \u00a3500,000 worth of prize money burning a hole in his pocket. And he has now confirmed what he plans to do with that eye-watering amount.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Speaking to <a aria-label=\"SportsBoomLink opens in a new tab.\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"http:\/\/sportsboom.co.uk\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\">SportsBoom<\/a>he said: \u201cBuy a house and take my parents travelling. There are many things I\u2019d like to buy. My parents are the true champions. They are the source of my strength. He said: &#8220;My mum wasn&#8217;t in very good health condition for a long time. During that time we were in Sheffield, she has been in hospital a lot. This is the second time she has visited me in the UK.
