I\u2019m quite numb. Obviously disappointed. But maybe not that surprised considering the way things have rolled of late. I\u2019m also not talking specifically about the football. We\u2019re in a run of maximum punishment for every mistake at the moment. Losing a game off three shots on target, with two of those ending up as non-penalty goals is just the way of the world right now for Arsenal. But not just that, I\u2019m talking about bringing 11 players back from international duty, thinking it was dark arts, then finding out it wasn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

The season has an element of terminal illness about it. This week, we\u2019ve got one more round of treatment. We\u2019re either walking away from it healthy as a holy miracle, or it\u2019s a short battle with illness, to go with the past three seasons\u2019 worth of the same.<\/p>\n
