Arsenal have a handful of injury doubts heading into this afternoon\u2019s Premier League clash with Bournemouth.<\/p>\n

After a spate of withdrawals during the international break, the vast majority of those players returned to action either in last weekend\u2019s FA Cup defeat to Southampton or the midweek Champions League victory over Sporting CP.<\/p>\n

An open training session on Thursday provided more clues into the state of Mikel Arteta’s squad with Bukayo Saka, Jurrien Timber, Martin Odegaard, Riccardo Calafiori and Piero Hincapie not joining their teammates on the grass.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the press on Friday, Arteta suggested some of those players had stepped up their returns with today\u2019s game in mind \u2013 but declined to name those in the frame.<\/p>\n

Saka has not played since the Carabao Cup final, also sitting out of England\u2019s international friendlies against Uruguay and Japan. Timber meanwhile missed that defeat at Wembley.<\/p>\n

Odegaard\u2019s situation has been made a little more complicated after comments from his international manager Stale Solbakken, who claimed the Norway has suffered an injury setback.<\/p>\n

The Arsenal captain has missed 11 games this year but started against Southampton and Sporting before being replaced with 20 minutes left in Lisbon.<\/p>\n

There has been a bit more clarity on Eberechi Eze. Despite fears he could miss up to six weeks of action, the former Crystal Palace star is available this weekend.<\/p>\n

Arteta may have some big decisions to make in attack with Kai Havertz and Gabriel Martinelli both impressing off the bench against Sporting.<\/p>\n

Given how little Arteta was giving away on the status of Saka and Timber, there is the possibility they might not be risked.<\/p>\n
