After winning the Premier League title last season, expectations were high, but they now find themselves on the cusp of a trophy-less campaign.

Arne Slot’s sophomore season has led many to question his management ability – furthermore, a slew of top players have been touted with an exit from the club in the summer transfer window.

We won’t include Mohamed Salah in this list – he has already confirmed that he will be departing the club at the end of the season. This is a speculative list – as such, Salah’s current situation doesn’t really fit the bill.

Stefan Bajectic

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1058498122" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

Stefan Bajcetic will forever be a ‘what could have been’ story at Anfield. Once a promising young midfielder with plenty of positive attributes, injuries hampered him during critical stages of his development.

As a result, Bajcetic never became the player he could have been. Currently, the Spain U21s international plays for Las Palmas on loan.

There aren’t any immiediate plans to move Bajcetic on – nevertheless, with his contract due to expire in 2027, it would make sense to cash in at this point.

Joe Gomez

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1074030191" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

Like Bajcetic, Joe Gomez also looked like a budding world-class talent in his younger years, only for his career to face to major injury setbacks.

Additionally, when fit, his form has been shaky at best. It might be time for a clean break – and what better time than the summer transfer window?

With his contract due to expire in the summer of 2027, Liverpool should look to put him up for sale now – lest they lose him on a free transfer in a year’s time.

Ibrahima Konate

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1073266443" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

Ibrahima Konate once looked like a fantastic replacement to the outgoing Joel Matip, but a few truly horrendous displays have rendered that thought process a thing of the past.

A fine player on his day, Konate is simply too susceptible to lapses in concentration – he has cost Liverpool far more needless goals than he really should have.

Konate’s contract is due to expire in the summer. Movement has been made towards signing a new deal, but time is quickly running out.

Andy Robertson

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1071842350" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

Once upon a time, Andy Robertson was considered the best left-back in the world. Now at the age of 32, this is no longer the case, but the Scottish international is still a steady hand at Premier League level.

Previously this season, Robertson had been linked with a move to Celtic (via The Scotsman), having been a boyhood Hoops fans. Despite this, no official move has been made from the Parkhead end.

He had also been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur a couple of months ago, but this fizzled out after the January transfer window concluded.

Curtis Jones

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1072639507" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

Curtis Jones has spent his entire professional career at Liverpool, making his Reds debut all the way back in 2019 – now, it seems his time at Anfield could soon reach its end.

He was linked with a move to Inter Milan back in the January transfer window (via Daily Express) – could Inter resume their interest in the summer?

A clean break is probably the best thing for Jones’ career – for all his talents, Arne Slot has generally fielded Liverpool’s marquee midfielders over the home-grown Merseyside man.

[1

post-1641","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-arsenal
["GET
