Four Premier League teams – West Ham United, Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and Tottenham – are all battling it out to avoid relegation. Wolves and Burnley look to be dead and buried, but this quartet are still fighting.

As always, it is five points for a correct result and ten points for a correct score. As we’re only predicting four games, a maximum of 40 points are up for grabs between us and Sheringham.

West Ham United vs Wolves

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1075524892" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

Teddy Sheringham: A lot of West Ham people have already claimed the three points, but it’s not as easy as that. You only have to look at Arsenal going to Wolves and not getting the result everyone expected.

Wolves will go there with intent. The manager will want to build on recent performances and prepare for next season, and the players will feel that as well. So I expect West Ham to win, but not as comfortably as people think.

Sheringham’s Prediction: West Ham 2-1 Wolves

Essential Football: This is a must win game for West Ham – as such, in true West Ham fashion, we think they’ll fail to pick up the three points. We also wouldn’t be surprised if Wolves enjoy plenty of success for prolonged periods.

With that being said, West Ham certainly have the ability to hurt their opponents in this one. It’s unlikely that they will be able to shut them out – especially so at home, which has been a consistent issue for the Irons in 2025/26.

Both sides have some excellent attacking players, but struggle manfully in the defensive third – a high-scoring draw seems like the most probable outcome to us.

EF’s Prediction: West Ham 2-2 Wolves

Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1074135781" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

Teddy Sheringham: Still a tough game. I like Unai Emery as a manager – he’s done very well and he’ll get his team competing and battling for every point. I also like the Forest manager, Pereira. He’s done a great job with what he’s got, and they all understand how they need to play.

They look as good a unit as any of the bottom four – they know what they’re doing and look coherent as a team. At Forest, I think they’ll be hopeful of winning, as long as they can score goals.

They’re missing (Chris) Wood up front and (are) struggling to score. They need someone to step up. They’re solid at the back and in midfield, but they just can’t score at the moment.

Sheringham’s Prediction: Nottingham Forest 2-0 Aston Villa

Essential Football: Nottingham Forest have looked like a much improved outfit since Vitor Pereira arrived at the club. They have maintained the defensive unity instilled in them by Sean Dyche – now, they are starting to find the back of the net again.

They thumped Spurs by a score of 3-0 in their last game – Aston Villa won’t roll over quite so easily, though. Both teams have a Europa League quarter-final to contend with before this game takes place, so they’ll both be somewhat fatigued.

In cases such as this, a 1-1 draw seems to be the most sensible prediction. Forest might be strong at the back, but Villa have some dangerous attacking players who can pick out the gaps.

EF’s Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-1 Aston Villa

We’re back for another week of Premier League predictions, following a two-week hiatus – this

[1

post-1494","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-arsenal
["GET
