Arsenal have recently taken steps to explore a potential transfer move for Paris Saint-Germain star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and they\u2019re not the only ones.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, although I can confirm the reported interest from the Gunners is genuine, there\u2019s currently nothing to indicate that PSG will even consider letting him go, while the player himself is also happy in the French capital.<\/p>\n

Multiple sources with ties to the agents industry have been approached for this piece, all of whom were keen to remain anonymous to protect relationships, and all those asked about the Kvaratskhelia gave more or less the same answer.<\/p>\n

Arsenal have indeed made some enquiries, as have at least two other unnamed Premier League clubs, but PSG\u2019s stance is clear: Kvaratskhelia is not for sale.<\/p>\n

Arsenal recruitment team keen on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia<\/h2>\n

Ultimately, this already looks like a lost cause for Arsenal, who are set to look into other potential attacking options as they prioritise a new left-sided forward for this summer.<\/p>\n

\u201cArsenal\u2019s recruitment team would have really liked to sign Kvaratskhelia, but PSG have bolted the door,\u201d one source explained.<\/p>\n

Most of the people I spoke to wouldn\u2019t even name an asking price, but there was one exception.<\/p>\n

\u201cPSG aren\u2019t going to sell\u2026well, maybe if Arsenal offered \u20ac180m, but that\u2019s not going to happen,\u201d one source said.<\/p>\n

Other Arsenal transfer targets<\/h2>\n

Arsenal are also understood to be interested in <\/span>Inter Milan forward Pio Esposito<\/a>though they could face competition from Manchester United.<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s also been talk of <\/span>Rafael Leao being an Arsenal targetbut AC Milan have recently spoken out to insist they want to keep him. The Portugal international has two years left on his contract.<\/span><\/p>\n

It remains to be seen what <\/span>Arsenal will be able to afford<\/a> this summer, but it\u2019s understood that they could raise significant funds through the sales of some big-name first-team players.<\/span><\/p>\n
