Michael van Gerwen has missed Premier League action due to illness, but Sherrock has little sympathy for the Dutchman.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Van Gerwen has withdrawn from three nights of the Premier League recently and looked out of sorts after returning to action against Gerwyn Price. Yet Sherrock rolled her eyes when asked about Mighty Mike&#8217;s struggles of late.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cIf you\u2019re ill like Michael van Gerwen has been, of course it\u2019s hard to play it down,&#8221; she said on <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=mcJPRBK_iwc\" rel=\"nofollow\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">Double Tops<\/a>. \u201cBut you\u2019ve got to try and play your best and just get on with it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;For women, we have periods and the cramps that go with those. I have to go out on stage and play well otherwise I\u2019m going to lose. It\u2019s just part of being a darts player. So when people say they\u2019re sick or are feeling under the weather, I don\u2019t really buy it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Van Gerwen still sits third in the Premier League, despite his issues, but Luke Littler has endured a much tougher start to the competition following his second world title at Ally Pally. Littler sits seventh out of eight players ahead of night five in Cardiff on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">However, Sherrock is not worried about The Nuke&#8217;s form. \u201cHe\u2019s sitting back and putting a challenge on himself \u2013 100 per cent!\u201d she said. \u201cI can see him really coming out all guns blazing in the later weeks and almost surprising everyone.
