Oludipe Oluwasanmi David popularly addressed by his stage name "Spyro" stated in a recent interview on Hip TV that his spec is a woman who knows God and also do what bad girls do but for their husbands only.
In December 2023 as a result of his performance during a carol service at his local church, he was criticized that since he wasn't a gospel musician, he should not sing in a church.
Thus, in the interview, he said "in anything you do in life, you will always be criticized and we just have to take a stance which is either hot or cold, or being for God or against God.
He further stated that you can be in any profession and still represent God in your field.
According to him, "I am a Christian and I make music. I'm an afrobeat singer and a lover of God".
