Peter Obi bi celebrates Funke Akindele's box office groundbreaking movie: "A Tribe called Judah" 

Peter Obi, the Labour party presidential candidate in the February 25, 2023 election commends Funke Akindele's hit movie, a tribe called Judah . He stated in his X account that the movie expresses the challenges faced by Nigerians as well as their struggle for survival.

The movie is the first Nollywood movie to exceed ₦1 billion in box office revenue within three weeks of it's release.

He further praised the movie stating that: "it skillfully tells a story that appeals to it's audience in a comic and entertaining delivery ".

He expressed that Nollywood has extremely contributed to Nigeria's growing presence over the past decade demonstrating the innate potential of it's people as portrayed in Funke Akindele's piece of art.

Conclusively, he added:

"I congratulate Funke Akindele for achieving this feat which is a bold testament to her passion, hardwork and dedication to the movie industry".
