NANS venerates Sen. Henry Seriake Dickson: Senator Representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District over his repeated Bursery scheme

Reminiscing into months back, precisely 2022/2023; 300 students from Sagbama Local Government area and on the other hand, 300 students from Ekeremor Local Government Area making up a total number of 600 students there about gratuitously benefited from the HSD EDUCATION SUPPORT SCHEME.

Aweribo, Justice Ebiapadei Chairman; National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Joint Campus Council (JCC) Bayelsa State Axis venerates, lauds, apotheosis, deify and openly appreciates Distinguished Sen. Henry Seriake Dickson: Senator Representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District in the House of Senate; Federal Republic of Nigeria over his repeated giant students/education support strides in Bayelsa State.

NANS lauds the students friendly Senator for continuing to investment in education and human capacity development generally over the years.

As if it was not enough that 600 students benefited in 2022 from the HSD Education Support Scheme but Distinguished Senator Henry Seriake Dickson's Bursery scheme looks forward to benefit 300 undergraduates from Bayelsa West Senatorial District; 300 undergraduates of Bayelsa State origin from all the universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education in the State, who are on first class or second class upper standing, and others the Committee deems eligible.

In addition to that, 100 students undergoing their Master's degree programmes and 50 PhD candidates.

NANS commend your tirelessly exerted efforts as a Committee towards maximum service delivery even now as you have done in time past.

Furthermore, NANS equally urges the remaining Nigerian National Assembly delegation from Bayelsa comprising Senators representing Bayelsa Central and Bayelsa East, and the five Representatives representing Sagbama/Ekeremor, Ogbia, Southern Ijaw, Bayelsa Central, and Brass/Nembe to tacitly emulate the worthy giant strides of Distinguished Senator Henry Seriake Dickson (Senator Representing Bayelsa West) in terms of investment in Education and human capital development.

Lastly, asides the Bursery scheme; NANS also believes that with the establishment of Hensard University, a private institution in Bayelsa State and Nigeria as a whole; it will enormously foster the rapid expansion and growth of Bayelsa State because the State is being promoted into a center of attraction to both its aborigines and foreigners.
