The Super Eagles team going to the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) has been announced as the 25-man squad hope to bring the trophy once again to the Soil of the African Giants.
The Male football team of Nigeria,polulary known as "THE SUPER EAGLES" are set for AFCON,the 34th AFRICAN CUP OF NATIONS will be hosted by Ivory coast, This prestigious competition is scheduled to hold from Saturday 13th of January 2024 to Sunday 19th February 2024, the Super Eagles will be hoping to lift the trophy once again after lifting the trophy first in 1980,and then in 1994(South Africa) and the most recent in 2013, However the last AFCON was disappointing as the Super Eagles were knocked out in the round of 16 by Tunisia.

The attack is one side of the team to look at with the likes of Victor osimhen,Victor Boniface and Ademola lookman. Fulham's Alex iwobi is also a player in Good form.
Nigerians hope that the super eagles can strive against all odds and bring back the trophy depsite being up a against the likes of Senegal, Morocco,Egypt, Algeria and other strong competitors.
