Nigerian singer, Tems has come under fire for praising colleagues, Ayra Starr and Tems over Grammy Nominations.
It is no news that a lot of Afrobeat stars have received nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards.
The upcoming Grammy Awards seems to favour stars that have not received the revered award before such as Asake, Olamide, Ayra Starr, etc.
On Ayra Starr and Tyla's nominations, the "Me & U" singer took to her X page to congratulate the two singers.
However, a certain user known as @sir_obafoluke reacted saying: "she didn't mean 1% of this shit".
A lot of users have opposed his comment stating that the singer has a heart of gold.
Fortunately, Tems also has a nomination for the upcoming Grammy Awards and praising her female colleagues was an act of sportsmanship and encouragement.
