Taylor Swift Forces Lionel Messi To Change Stadiums

Iconic pop star, Taylor Swift forces Messi and the Argentinian team to change their match stadium.

Argentina is no doubt interested in qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. They are the reigning champions. And in their match with Uruguay, the 2022 World Cup winners would have loved to use their usual and preferred El Monumental which boasts an 84,000 seat capacity.

Unfortunately, with Taylor Swift's Era Tour ongoing, the 'Shake It Off' singer had used the River Plate Base for three of her massive stage performances between November 9 -11. And the stadium was really 'shaken off' by the singer and has not recovered to be used by Lionel Messi and his colleagues.

Thus, Messi and the Argentine team had to settle for the lesser La Bombonera, home of the Boca Juniors. The match with Uruguay ended in a loss for the Argentine team with Uruguay winning them 2 - 0.

However, on Taylor's side, her concert is going smoothly and will end with her final shows in Brazil.
