Irish man, Alan Fisher, beats Hilda Baci for longest cooking time after cooking for 119 hours and 57 minutes in Japan.
The Irish chef cooked for nine days straight, surpassing Hilda's world record with 93 hours 11 minutes.
He simultaneously beat her record whilst beating the record for Longest backing marathon (individual). His feat shows that the kitchen is not just for women alone.
This has created mixed feelings amongst several Nigerians stating that Hilda's record was not even up to a year. The Guiness World Record however, stated that records can be broken at any time. And Alan Fisher successfully broke Hilda's revered record.
