Nigerian Afrobeat star, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido has received 3 Grammy nominations ahead of the February 2024 Grammy Awards.
The nominations include Best Global Album for his latest album, “Timeless"; Best African Performance for his song “Unavailable”; and Best Global Music Performance for his song “Feel.”
This is the first time Davido has been nominated for three Grammy Awards. Usually the likes of Burna boy and Wizkid have dominated the Grammys in the Afrobeat category. But, as fate would have it, it is Davido's time to shine.
Posting on X, the star stated:
“3 nominations at the Grammys!! Delay is not Denial!! 🏆🌎”
The world is set to see Davido at Los Angeles come February 2024.
