At least 11 people kicked the bucket in a ghastly road accident in Kebbi state.
The name of the vehicle was Volvo with the registration number KWA 230 SKK driven by a mister Sule.
In a statement released by the Police Public Relations officer, he explained that the truck which contained the passengers and some bags of beans was returning to Ibadan.
When they reached Shanga L.G.A, Giron musa village, the driver suddenly lost control and the truck summersaulted.
About 21 passengers sustained injuries. A team of policemen from the Shanga Division rushed the victims to the General hospital in Shanga. Unfortunately, the medical doctor confirmed 11 dead.
The commissioner of police sympathized with the victims of the deceased and prayed for them to Rest In Peace. He called the National union of Road Transport workers, Nigerian Association of Road Transport owners and other bodies and urged them to be careful when driving.
