In anticipation of Senate approval, President Bola Tinubu gave his blessing on Thursday to Mr. Ola Olukoyede's appointment as the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
On October 14, 1969, Mr. Ola Olukoyede came into the world, particularly at Ikere, Ekiti. He is a lawyer with more than twenty-two (22) years of experience. He graduated from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Executive Education, as well as the University of Lagos, and the ICC Institute of Arbitration in Paris, France.
In addition, Mr. Olukayode has a wealth of experience running the EFCC, having previously held the positions of Secretary to the Commission (2018–2023) and Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman (2016–2018). He also serves as a pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
Who Is Mr. Muhammad Hammajoda?
Mr. Olukayode wasn't the only one to receive presidential blessings. The President also gave his blessing to Mr. Muhammad Hammajoda's appointment as the EFCC Secretary for an initial term of five years.
The University of Maiduguri awarded Hammajoda a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration. He is a public official with vast experience in managing public finances.
He began working for the Federal Polytechnic in Mubi as a lecturer. He then entered the banking industry, working successfully for the now-defunct Allied Bank and Standard Trust Bank.
