The film focuses on the inner lives of young artists, what some of them have gone through to get to where they are today, and some dirty works alongside the wonderful ones. The producers, Funke Akindele and ex-husband JJC Skillz, put a lot of effort into the film's creation.
In an interview, Funke Akindele stated that what inspired her to direct the film was to show people the inside life of an artist as well as to prepare the minds of rising stars for the challenges they may experience from time to time.
Synopsis
The film's five segments centre on three female artists: Tito (Vee Iye), X cite (Waje), and She (Funke Akindele). The first episode depicts three female artists who were scheduled to perform at a music award ceremony, while X cite cheers on her colleague Tito, while SHE is in the back preparing for her upcoming performance. SHE expected the prize to be bestowed to her in the end, but it was given to Tito instead. She pretends that it wasn't a setback for her and encourages her. Meanwhile, SHE appears to be the bad guy throughout the story. The story depicts the gloomy Chronicles of her life, as well as her deceitful and pompous tactics.
The series exposes the cutthroat competitions and backstabbing behaviours that SHE engaged in in order to outperform her fellow female musicians and maintain her place as a top music artist. Exceptional Performances and Attention to Detail
The entire character and role selection was quite beautiful with diverse roles assigned to different people such as Akah Nnani (Sisqo) his role as a cross dresser really amazed me also our old Nollywood star Patience Ozokwor who featured a drunken mom, Lizzy jay's role as Ruka alongside other characters added richness to the narrative.
The utilisation of props and costumes is excellent, with the costume crew doing an excellent job. From their fancy suits, luggage, and shoes to their lavish wigs and makeup, every superstar character in the series looks dazzling and dashing.
The performers are immaculately clothed for their roles, and Funke Akindele's character, who suffers from alopecia, is a testament to exceptional makeup work that fully immerses viewers.
